Sales Manager

For many years BiblioCommons has focused investment on engineering and continuous innovation. Now, with a substantial product advantage in the market, and as the platform of choice for some of the largest libraries in the world, BiblioCommons is turning that focus to growth and looking for a Sales Manager to lead the charge in a more deliberate way -- by developing our current sales team, stepping in at the strategic level on some of our largest accounts and implementing key processes to underpin critical responsibilities.

A new role to the company, the Sales Manager must be comfortable challenging the status quo and persuasive in continuing to propel digital adoption/ transformation across the public library domain. We are looking for someone who is able to combine a passion for the BiblioCommons’ mission with a drive to double revenue over the next five years.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead a small team of passionate change-makers and elevate their sales skills to the next level of growth.
  • Be the point person for the largest account sales.
  • Share your passion for the digital transformation of libraries and education.

What you bring:

  • Sales leadership experience - ideally with SaaS sales and B2B sales
  • Willingness and drive to become a thought leader in the public library domain by gaining deep expertise in our products and competitive landscape
  • Adept at opening new opportunities and driving progress through long sales cycles in a methodical way
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft a compelling story and establish new ways of thinking
  • Strong understanding of the Challenger Sales approach
  • Passion for the impact that libraries can have on community
  • Desire to create a positive social impact

Bonus points for:

  • Marketing experience
  • Prior experience using Salesforce CRM and InsightSquared
